Who'd a thunk it?

As I sit on this leather couch, ready to end this day, all those who know me, willl read this blog and wonder aloud.....Who'd a thunk it? But really with all God has done the last few years, this seems the natural thing to do. You see, Karra and I have been commissioned to do what we do not know how to do (a little like this blogging stuff). Over the next few years we want to blog with those who want to read about our life in this beautiful place and watch the future unfold. Watch with us as we are led towards the mission: a working ranch ministry. We are not crystal clear on what that means, but I for one know that God is showing me things that need work. Yes, new fence, new pens, new cows.....but the deepest and profound things are in me. He is molding and shaping...indeed teaching an old dog new tricks. The preparation necessary to do His work on this ranch. We believe the journey will be fun and tragic. Sort of a combination of "Dallas" (for those of you old enough to remember) and "Lost". So...that is all for now. We are off to Biloxi, MS to market this weekend. To sell our wares of wall crosses. You see, only an Aggie would go to a market where 70% of the customers are from Louisana on Superbowl weekend WHO DAT!

And by the by...Please join, it will encourage us to keep going. And, I promise, I will learn to post pictures and make this more enjoyable! Bye for now.
